Working out Loud

"Working Out Loud® (WOL®) is a globally proven learning method for connected, transparent collaboration and personal development. It focuses on skills that are essential in the age of digitalization and AI: visibility, relationship-building, and networking, as well as self-efficacy and a mindset of continuous learning.
In a WOL Circle, 4–5 participants work together over twelve weeks on individual goals—supported by structured prompts, reflection exercises, and peer coaching. The format is suitable for both personal development and for fostering collaboration and cultural change within organizations."
(Katharina Krentz, Connecting Humans)

As a WOL® coach, I facilitate the program and help foster discussion, reflection, and inspiration among the participants.

Why do I use the Working Out Loud® method?

In my coaching sessions and team workshops, I focus on strengths, communication, psychological safety, a culture of feedback, and solution-oriented thinking. I believe in the connections between people and that opening up—including occasionally showing vulnerability—builds trust and connections, and I strive to create the space for that.

I am firmly convinced that we need social interactions—some more, some less… but they are indispensable (especially in our increasingly virtual society).

What guides me is the conviction that communication and exchange enable us to view things from a different perspective. We see what others are struggling with, realize that we are not alone, can offer comfort, or even provide concrete help… Having a space where you feel safe and can share your thoughts, goals, challenges, and doubts—while receiving the support of a group—is the most valuable thing there is.

And last but not least: The structured framework of the WOL circle meetings fosters personal responsibility. When you’ve shared your goal, it means you’re actually taking it seriously and want to pursue it.
